6 things you should know before start
1. Tile types

There are three major options that you can choose from, i.e. tiles that are made from Porcelain, Ceramic, and Stone. Which one is the best for you? Ceramic is the most commonly used tile type, which is easy to cut and rather popular for DIY's. Porcelain is more durable. This is the perfect choice for wet areas like bathrooms. Being the natural product, stones require special treatment. So, it's better to let experts proceed with caution.

2. Tile color

There are several major rules that you need to consider when selecting the best tile color. If you want to make a small space look bigger, opt for light colors. If you want to hide dirt, then dark tiles are for you. If you want to add the feeling of warmth to your space, select tiles painted in yellow, orange or red. If you want to bring emphasis to accessories rather than the floor or walls, then select neutral tile colors.

3. Tile size

Similar to the best choice of the tile color, the size of tiles is our personal preference. If you want to make space look bigger than it really is, then oft for the larger tile size. With smaller tiles, space will look busier and smaller. Additionally, choosing small tiles you'll have more ground line. Mind this as you make your choice.

4. Design trends

Just like anything else in this world, tiles are available in different designs. Whether it's minimalist, classic, futuristic or any other style that you'd like to deliver in your space, there are the respective tile designs that will help you achieve a trendy look. We work with all the major tile types. We can deliver every style that you can think of. For example, some of the trendiest solutions include: Class mosaics, Large rectangles, Brick-look tiles, Stone looks, etc.

5. Mortar vs Mastics

Mastics are the tile adhesives that are intended to be used in the areas where there isn't a lot of water. If we refer to history, we'll discover that tiles that were installed on mortar centuries ago underwent little to no damage. That's why mortar installation is the optimal choice for bathrooms and kitchens.

6. Rule for Low Budget

If you decide to do home renovation on your own, make it simple yet classy. When on a low budget, go get the mid-sized light-colored tiles that will bring a fresh and spacious look to your space, which will never go out of fashion.
